The all-foam Zenhaven consists primarily of latex, which is inherently durable. The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which may prove helpful if you’re not exactly sure what you prefer or if your requirements change over time. This is not a conventionally cushy bed mattress, but it uses a supple cushion, great edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Offered its inherent sturdiness, the Zenhaven must work well for people who weigh more than 200 pounds.
These bed mattress were also assessed in our group tests carried out for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I have actually talked to scores of specialists in the bed mattress market and in materials science; checked out dozens of bed mattress factories, stores, and showrooms; and pored over the great print on specs, service warranties, and return policies.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and catering to nearly every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Is Saatva A Good Company
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (rather of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva promotes such additionals as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column assistance”; we’re less impressed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and resilient foams and coils.
