The all-foam Zenhaven consists primarily of latex, which is fundamentally long lasting. The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which might show handy if you’re uncertain what you prefer or if your requirements change over time. This is not a traditionally soft mattress, but it offers a flexible cushion, great edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Given its inherent sturdiness, the Zenhaven needs to work well for people who weigh more than 200 pounds.
These mattresses were also evaluated in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve spoken with ratings of specialists in the mattress industry and in products science; visited dozens of bed mattress stores, showrooms, and factories; and pored over the fine print on specifications, service warranties, and return policies.
Making sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with an option of firmness levels and accommodating nearly every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Where Does Saatva Ship From
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. But we do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (instead of chemicals or fiberglass) and only organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimum spinal column assistance”; we’re less pleased with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and durable foams and coils.
